Ocean In a Drop - Retreat 01 Roundup
In keeping with using the digital mediums available and adapting to change, below is a video with some highlights from this first retreat!
From the 5th – 9th April 2021, the first Ocean in a Drop retreat set sail! This retreat was held by ComMutiny – the Youth Collective and Pravah in partnership with Commonwealth Secretariat.
The course explores four core themes:
1. Youth Development;
2. Design and Facilitation;
3. Systems Thinking; and
4. Deep Self Awareness.
By the end of the training the participants will be able to:
• Demonstrate a commitment to youth-centric development and building youth leadership through deepening youth work practice in their institutions/ countries.
• Internalise the 4 imperatives of youth development.
• Apply the learnings from the course to envision/enhance formal/ non-formal courses on youth leadership in their own countries.
• Co-create a practitioners’ network and become part of the international OID community, and help steer forward actions in this field.
