It is a dynamic profession that in many places still thrives regardless of a distinct lack of resources, via the passion and commitment of Youth Workers.
Youth Workers who know that there work in communities will make a difference to young people and their transition to adulthood. So there are resources from the Commonwealth and our colleagues in Europe as we are a partner to 25 European Youth Work Associations.
Take time to have a look at our global definitions document or our CAYWA statement about our values and beliefs. Our work is underpinned by the advocacy of the human rights of young people.
Youth Work is truly a global profession and the Commonwealth is now taking that advocacy very seriously. We look forward to working with established and emerging professional Associations.
