2021 International Youth Work Week
International Youth Work Week is celebrated by the Commonwealth Youth Program every year. This year the week runs from November the 1st. The Commonwealth Alliance of Youth Workers' Associations (CAYWA) is delivering workshops and activities during the week showcasing our passion for Youth Work and celebrating the difference that Youth Workers make in the lives of vulnerable young people.
Virtual Coffee Trials - All Week!
The virtual coffee trials are a chance to enjoy a cup of coffee (or hot beverage of choice) with a youth worker from another country. These meetings will go for approximately 30 minutes at an agreed time between both individuals.
These meetings are a great opportunity to band together and share your experiences, collaborate ideas, share differences and involvement with working with young people.
Emerging Issues in Youth Work Conference - Wednesday, November 3rd
CAYWA is excited to present our annual International Youth Work Week event: "Emerging Issues in Youth Work".
CAYWA will be holding two sessions celebrating #ChampionsofYouthWork with our guests and panel of experts in the field, academics and board members to discuss what the emerging issues in youth work are.
Ocean in a Drop - Saturday, November 6th
This International Youth Work Week, we are excited to invite you to a 2-hour long orientation workshop on Ocean In A Drop: International, a powerful Pravah learning journey that has nurtured the youth development ecosystem with 1000+ youth work professionals in India and across the Commonwealth. The workshop will explore key imperatives in youth work, provide an overview of Ocean In A Drop journey and will invite our alumni to share their experiences and learnings.
